With more than ten years of
winery experience in sales and marketing, and general winery
operations, Hilary is well suited to represent clients
in winery and vineyard business matters, including acquisitions,
sale and lease transactions, grape purchase and sale agreements,
distributor agreements, environmental due diligence, and
alcohol beverage compliance.
Hilary is fluent in French, with extensive travel throughout
Western and Eastern Europe. She has worked in fine
arts and antiques acquisitions and sales, and in the entertainment
industry. She brings these experiences to advise both
foreign and domestic wine import and export negociants. Hilary’s
concentration is in the Business, Real Estate, Wine Law and
Civil Litigation practice areas, with an emphasis on land
use, compliance, and environmental representation.

An avid sports and outdoors
enthusiast, Hilary enjoys hiking, running, cycling, swimming,
tennis, golf, and working in her English style garden. Fine
arts play a prominent role in her life as an amateur painter
and collector of art and antiques.
Family vineyards in the Stag’s Leap District offer
her practical winegrowing experience, as well as the opportunity
to take part in producing small family lots of Cabernet Sauvignon. Her
husband, an amateur gourmet chef, shares Hilary’s interest
in fine wine and cuisine.
